The nation’s power generation capacity dropped by 1,080 mega watts (mw) Tuesday, due to the shut down of the Egbin Thermal Station, creating fears of more and longer power supply outages to businesses and homes far and wide, and the attendant reduced productivity, personal discomfort and apprehension of crime lurking in the darkness.
