ENERGY Industries produce the vast bulk (33.7 percent) of pollution emissions in Nigeria, according to a report conducted by the Centre for Energy Research and Development(CERD) and Atmospheric Research and Information Analysis Laboratory(ARIAL), for the United Nations Framework on Climate Change (UNFCC). Energy industries comprise Hydro and thermal power generation, including oil and gas production.
