THE embattled former chairman of the House of Representatives ad hoc committee on investigation of oil subsidy regime, Farouk Lawan has been sacked as chairman of the House Committee on Education.
Lawan’s hope of regaining his status was yesterday dashed as the Speaker, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal announced the appointment of Aminu Suleiman (PDP, Kano) as the substantive chairman of the committee.
Tambuwal also appointed deputy chairmen for six other committees.
