THREE days after his brother, Goni Sheriff, the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) governorship candidate, Modu Fannami Gubio, and five others were assassinated in Maiduguri, Governor Ali Modu Sheriff declared yesterday that desperate politicians were responsible for the killings.
Exonerating members of the dreaded Boko Haram from the act, he said those responsible wanted to make the state ungovernable.
