THE Akwa Ibom State government has granted financial autonomy to the state judiciary, as the state chapter of the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) suspends industrial action.
The state Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Uwemedimo Nwoko and Special Adviser to Governor on Labour and Productivity, Mr Godwin Udom, in Uyo, on Monday, agreed that any money releases shall be made directly to the state Chief Judge.
