AN Action Congress (AC) candidate, Bright Osayande, has emerged the winner of the by-election into the Edo State House of Assembly in Oghede Ward in Ovia North East Constituency II.
Osayande had 811 votes as against the 373 votes by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Oseyemwenre Omorogiev.
The electoral officer Chiha Louis disclosed that 182 votes were voided, adding that the AC won with a difference of 438 votes.
