IF a request from the Presidential Amnesty Office (PAO) to the Federal Government is approved, some of the transformed former militants from the Niger Delta region may end up in the military.
Dropping the hint yesterday, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt-General Onyeabo Azubuike Ihejirika, said the Nigerian Army was considering the request of the PAO to recruit a number of the demilitarised militants into the army.
