THE National Economic Council yesterday established a committee to work out the modalities for the establishment of the Sovereign Wealth Fund, which would serve as a reserve fund for the country’s future needs.
The council also deliberated on the inability of the state governments to access the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) fund, the execution of criminals on death row, the employment compensation and multiple taxation.
