SUSPECTED political thugs and leaders of the road transport union in Oyo State yesterday took over the House of Assembly complex in their bid to stall the planned impeachment of the Speaker, Moruf Atilola, by 16 of the 32-member House.
The hoodlums, supported by top government officials and their aides, were strategically positioned within the Parliament building, which houses the Assembly complex, and armed with dangerous weapons.
