A MIDDLE-aged man, suspected to be a vandal of electricity cables and accessories, was on Thursday electrocuted in Naze, outskirts of Owerri metropolis.
According to the Public Affairs Manager of Owerri business unit of the Power Holding Company Nigeria (PHCN), Mr. Ositadinma Ugwuafor, who spoke to The Guardian, officials of the company came to the area at about 1p.m on the fateful day and saw the body of the young man on top of the cable, while power was off in the area.
