Nigeria Central Bank in Talks on ‘Recapitalizing’ Lenders (Bloomberg)

Dec. 18 (Bloomberg) -- The Central Bank of Nigeria is in talks with foreign and domestic banks over the recapitalization of eight lenders it rescued by injecting about 620 billion naira ($4.1 billion) after they failed an audit, the regulator’s spokesman Mohammed Abudullahi said yesterday.
