NIGERIA and Libya are currently in the process of mending their diplomatic relations perceived to have been damaged by Libyan leader, Col. Muammar Ghaddafi’s call that Nigeria be split first along religious lines and later along ethnic cleavages.
The countries are now to immediately normalise diplomatic relations with the designation of ambassadors to each country within 14 days.
