NSE trades N1.98b worth of shares in depressed transactions

Weekly transactions on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) opened on a poor note on Monday with the market indicators sliding by 0.32 per cent. The market capitalisation lost N19 billion to close at N6.057 trillion from the N6.076 trillion achieved on Friday. The All-Share Index also went down by 80.5 points to close at 24,766.14 from the opening index of 24,846.64.
