FORMER Heads of State yesterday incurred the wrath of Senators over the more than N1.2 billion allowance due to them this year.
To members of the Upper Chamber, the former leaders, such as Generals Yakubu Gowon, Olusegun Obasanjo, Muhammadu Buhari, Ibrahim Babangida and Abdulsalami Abubakar (all retired) are comfortable and there is no basis for them to be given such a huge sum, when many unemployed Nigerians are going about hungry.
