The Senate on Tuesday approved the nomination of Gov. Namadi Sambo of Kaduna State as the country's vice president.
Senate Leader Teslim Folarin, who moved the motion, said that President Goodluck Jonathan had sent his nomination for approval to the Senate in compliance with section 146(3) of the 1999 constitution.
