Shema’s trial in alleged N5.7bn fraud stalled

Olaide Oyelude, Katsina The inability of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to produce some of the statements of the principal witness, Nasiru Ingawa, on Wednesday stalled the trial of a former governor of Katsina State, Shehu Shema. Shema is being tried for alleged laundering of N5.7bn belonging to the state’s Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment
