BARELY 48 hours after the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Hafiz Ringim, ruled out negotiation with members of the Boko Haram sect, the Borno State Command of the Nigeria Police yesterday cracked down on the notorious fundamentalists.
At the end of the raid, no fewer than six members of the sect were feared killed, while several others escaped to unknown destination in Borno and the neighboring Yobe state.
