Former Lagos State governor and the leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has justified the imposition of candidates for elective positions by the party.
He also gave indications of the probably reasons for the failure of the attempt by some leaders of the party to co-opt a former Finance Minister and Managing Director of the World Bank, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, as running mate to the party’s presidential candidate, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
